    Hello!

What is considered a safe product to remove bumper stickers from Tacoma *paint*, please? I have Krud Kutter and Simple Green available plus some hardcore de-sticker stuff from the 90's/2000's.

As always, thank you in advance.

Goo Gone is ok for some sticker residue, but if it’s much tougher than that, this stuff works great and doesn’t harm paint.

Just use some heat to loosen up the adhesive (park in direct sunlight for a while, blow dryer, probably not a heat gun) then peel it off as carefully as possible.

Then use your products to remove any remaining adhesive.

WD-40 is my go to for removing adhesive residue without damaging the underlying surface. Heat works wonders for the initial sticker removal.

Depending on what year it is and how long the sticker was there, the paint could very well be darker under the sticker and look worse than the sticker when you remove it. Learned this with tint a long time ago.

3M makes a general purpose adhesive cleaner. Its for automotive applications and it works well. They also make an automotive adhesive remover in a spry can. I have never used the spray.

If you have access one way is to use fishing line or dental floss. Start by lifting a corner o side with your hand. Run line/floss between surface and sticker. Use a short back and forth motion and gradually remove sticker. 3M spray works great as does goo gone. I've used acetone with great results. Some people think it's too strong but I've used it on stubborn to remove stuff with no issues. Try a little of anything on your paint in an inconspicuous place to make sure it doesn't affect your paint first.
