    Hey y'all, almost Friday!

I've got one for you wise guys and gals of the interwebs. My truck is a 2wd 2016, she's got Bilstein 5100s all around and an add a leaf in the rear, sitting level on about 2 inches. Also running KDmax tune, had it done around 2020. She drives AMAZINGLY despite some service mishaps I've had in the past. I've definitely "broken her in". Drivetrain and related components are all factory stock.

I've noticed recently under hard acceleration an ever so slight rattle that sounds like it comes from under the truck, possibly driveshaft? Tbh I don't know too much about cars other than my limited knowledge from YouTube University. I do do my own oil changes, tire rotations, accidentally did a transmission drain and fill (lol.)

Just wanted to poke at y'all's wisdom to lead me to any possible culprit. I'm not too concerned because most of the time I don't notice any peculiar sounds due to my music being turned up so loud, and I've accepted the fact that these trucks have noisy drivetrains. I just happened to be on a spirited drive the other day without music and just the wonderful sounds of quality engineered naturally aspirated V6 machinery when I noticed the rattle a couple times.
Again it doesn't seem too concerning, she runs and drives normally. Just wanting some input from other users experiences. Looking for honest input, but also feel free to flame me humble and wise folks:poking:. It can be quite entertaining at times:rasta:

I'll have to give it a look when I get a chance to. Currently it's cold and wet at my location, and my driveway is gravel and dirt.

If it’s a deep rumble sound, check your driveshaft carrier bearing for cracks or wear. Especially if it’s usually between 20-40mph. Had a sound like that recently

It's more of a tinny sort of rattle, If that makes sense. Like loose metal rattling.
Again I'll check under the truck when conditions permit. I appreciate y'all giving me places to look. Haven't really replicated the sound again, seems to happen very seldomly.

I gotcha in that case I’d check the heat shields like wilcam47 said

Some under-truck rattlins are best left to solve themselves.

Mine rattles when I go around a traffic circle. Kinda sounds like a bicycle bell. Any ideas?

If it's a blacktail, they love hugs and kisses. If not..............they just want a free dinner.
