Thinking of changing the red/orange color of the calipers and drums. Not liking the look anymore.

Any suggestions on how to go about this?

Can I just spray grey or black right over the red?
Do I need to prep or primer first?
I don’t need to remove the parts to do this do I?

    thanks in advance
