Hey! I wanted to share my dashboard with TacomaWorld. I built this to help search Tacoma inventory nationwide (USA Only, sorry maple bros):

    View it HERE

There are 4 pages on this report.
    1. The first page is an overview summary.
    2. "Truck Finder" is the search/filter/sort functionality you need for shopping. <-- This is the main functionality
    3. Next page has the various breakdowns of available colors/transmissions/models/etc.
    4. Last page is more of regional level breakdown of models pricing and a map.

The dashboard uses the data scraped from KMG and put on Github every night. I used to download these files and sort them in Excel to try and locate what I wanted, and it was time consuming and error prone because the data is not always normalized... all dealers seem to spell colors and options differently and is just kind of raw. Like one interior would be listed as "eb Black" and the other as "Embossed Black Softex" but they are the same thing. Anyway, I take about 30 steps to normalize and clean the data, then it can be more completely viewed and filtered.

Note: this data contains current dealer inventory listed as available. Meaning it has been manufactured and is on its way to or already at a dealer. I don't have any data source for advance allocations. We also have no way to know if any of these are reserved already, it's just unsold inventory. But I think it's still helpful to provide a big picture for the current market.

    Enjoy!

This is very impressive! I've been doing the same thing in Excel from those nightly uploads.

Is there any way you could add filters for options? I was able to do it in Excel in about three steps. The options come in tab delimited, so they can be split out and then cleaned up with the trim command. So for example, I can search for all trucks with the 14" screen, off-road upgrade package, Moon roof, etc. in addition to the standard filters you have. Also, I just noticed it looks like you are missing Southeast Toyota data.

Regardless, this is a very sweet utility, thanks for sharing.
