Installed bilstein 5100s and OME leafs on my 02 couple months ago. On a work trip to Vegas the rear right broke. Looks as though the threads connecting the piston to the mounting point thing sheared off. Trying to figure out if the part was bad or if I got the wrong shock.

    Shocks are B8 5100 (33247717) and (33247724)

    Leafs are ARB EL122RA/B

I had the same thing happen last year on my 2012 with both front and rear shocks, First, the front left bent for no reason on a highway road, and then the rear right broke a moderate trail last November, again under the bare amount of pressure. My local dealer denied the warranty both times because the way the shocks were bent implies it was bent due to abuse but that's total bullcrap. So, after dealing with all of this, I've decided I hate Bilsteins and switched to Kings. After switching to Kings some mods were required like new UCA's so I went with Total Chaos on that. The ride quality on and offroad is way better now.

Posting to show I had the same issue with a rear 5100 shock. I've had them on my truck for six years, and I just noticed the other one is leaking. Did you figure out what happened on yours?
