I'm going to check out a used 3RZ today to replace the one in my newly acquired 1995 single cab. Seller says 150k miles and will include the harness and computer which is nice since someone cut up the harness at some point in my truck's past. No other info, no videos of it running but it's close enough (and cheap enough) it's at least worth checking out. Seller has a 5VZ converted 85 Xtra cab for sale as well so seems Toyota enough. LOL!

I plan on doing a compression check and pulling the valve cover. What else would you do or look for?
