@la0d0g & @skidooman, let's block a weekend in late May / early June for an overnighter with the kids. Weekends are tied up with baseball for us until the last 2 weeks in May.

Yes I did thanks tho. The O Reilly one just had too large of a lip to fit. On the road to Moab, got delayed by a bit due to brake calipers shitting themselves…

yesterday was last full day in Moab.

Morning we woke up on the edge of part of one of the small canyons north of canyonlands park, then I did porcupine rim on my mountain bike, and finished off the day with hells revenge. I took some of the bypasses. About half.

I was 1 of 2 Toyotas we saw out there, and the other was an old Land Cruiser on 40’s lol. Only dirt bikes, sxs, and jeeps while we were on it. Got a few comments of “oh a Tacoma” and “they’ve got bikes on it” and laughter.

Guy in one of the built tow trucks on 40’s asked if we were looking for slick rock bike trail. Cracked me up. We’re already a mile in. 1 slider hit, 2 skid hits, and 2 hits on the rear hitch is all. It’s a crazy and not crazy trail at the same time is my take on it now

I’ve missed the desert scenery. Had it before I moved to Reno. Unreal is the only way to describe some of it

*edit* bumped into a group while going through the pro line part of porcupine rim that was snowed in so we were walking it/sliding down. Cool to see still. First people out here I had talked to in any way, and they’re from Reno lol

Too many to list, and I've probably forgotten a bunch.
Anyone in Reno/Sparks/Fernley/Fallon got a set of stock takeoff front strut assemblies that'll fit a '14 Tacoma for cheap/free-99? I gotta pull the SAWs off my truck to get rebuilt. I just need it to be moveable about 50' since it can't live in the garage while I wait for shipping+rebuild time. Hell, happy to give them back when I'm done if you feel OK loaning them out!

Wouldn’t a 4x4 block of wood with some bolts through it work if it’s just to roll the truck

I can't even picture . But basically I have to back it out of the garage, around the kid's car, and back into the driveway. Total distance about 50'. Even if I roll it out of the garage, I ain't rolling it *up* the driveway. :D

Talked to a group of riders in St. George on MTB trails, one group from Canada, other from … Reno.

then I camped at Grand Canyon last night on the rim, and one of the two other cars in the general area, is a guy who lived in Verdi for 20 years…

    it’s getting ridiculous

Does anyone know of a place other than moonrocks that is just desert offroading?

Looking for fast stuff but have no idea where to start. I heard there's good stuff in Dayton where Vegas to Reno ends but there's little info on anything.

What's the chance anyone has 2" wheel spacers Tacoma lug pattern laying around that I can scoop up?

@SoonToBeOn39s Hit up Lenny at BORA/Motorsport tech for the best spacers. Plus he often has minor blem or return spacers sitting in his office that he lets go for a good deal.

I actually might. Dunno if they’re 1.25 or 2. I do also need to take the rears off and make sure the tire with stock wheel clears everything in there. I think I’m rubbing less with no spacers in front.

Was one of the last minute scrambles to take fronts off after getting UCA on so still have rears on lol

My steering wheels a little off center now lol. And a rough eyeball makes it look like my skid plates sitting higher on one side but the trips not over yet so once I get home and rest I’ll crawl under the truck and make sure everything’s a-ok. Last day now. Damn tired
