@PathFinder1776, thank you. If I stick with the 15 inch wheel, what tire would you recommend?

32x11.50r15 is the only common 32 inch tire. If I were stuck on 15s, definitely the 33x9.50r15 Kenda kr601 or kr629.
The difference in price between tires would probably pay for the 16s, 235/85r16 are quite a bit cheaper.

@PathFinder1776, Im definitely not stuck on the 15's, I guess my question is how the drivability would be going a little bigger in tire size with daily driving and off road. My truck has never left me standed off road with the 31's. I know there will be some modifications to the liner and pinch welds, just dont want to have to deal with severe tire rub.

Just throwing this out there due to the sheer volume of Tacoma owners on this site. Ive had my truck 20+ years and always ran the same 31x10.5 size. Just looking to change it up.

Gotcha, that makes sense. I had two 1st gen trucks (about 150k miles between them) that always had 235/85r16 or 255/85r16 tires. That seems to be the max tire size on these trucks that require minimal or zero trimming and won't break stuff even when driven hard. Those trucks both got driven fairly hard at times in addition to being daily driven, and the only failures were LBJs that were either very worn out or junk aftermarket. Totally my fault. 235/85r16 probably won't be any different than your current tire in typical driving feel. You'll feel the 255s a little but they're not bad at all.
You can get really nice 16" 3rd gen factory wheels for cheap, and it opens up a lot of good tire options.
