Needed a single bed drawer but didn’t want to drill anymore holes in the bed (mounted a fridge slide at one point but didn’t like it there), so I came up with this. I used a turnbuckle on the tailgate side and on the cab side I had to get a little creative. On the long beds this would be easier because the tie downs are lower on the cab side. With the tie down on the short beds behind above the wheel well, it wants to tip the whole drawer that way using a turnbuckle. So I used some scrap 3/4” plywood to get flush with the bed rail, some angle aluminum, some random brackets I already had, and some hand knobs that I had from a previous bed buildout. I think it turned out pretty clean, and I can have the whole drawer out in a couple minutes.IMG_3524.jpg IMG_3525.jpg IMG_3526.jpg IMG_3527.jpg IMG_3530.jpg

Interesting approach. I like the tie down strips on top.

What is the ‘floor’ of your bed? Stall mat, or carpet-covered plywood?

eBay! They’re the Vevor 48” locking slides. Quite a bit cheaper on eBay than on Amazon.
