I have a 2005 Tacoma that I'm wanting to replace the tail lights on due to one of the lights being cracked. I like the "original" look of the tail lights compared to the LED ones. I've been shopping around on Amazon and ebay but I thought I'd ask here if anyone has replaced their's and what you recommend and where to buy?

    thanks for any help:)

    Welcome aboard :hattip:

Pick one’s in your budget that you like the look of. Beware of lights that are already led unless you’ve seen the output. My reverse lights are so bad I had to add auxiliary reverse lighting to see.
Most will recommend OEM but I don’t see the reason on tail lights.

check marketplace, eBay or cl for used ones

I got cheap Chinese ones over a decade ago (I backed up into a pole). They are still holding up well. However, all was not well at first. After installing them one brake light bulb kept going out because it would slip out of the socket. Fortuitously, I had kept my OE assembly and swapped over the wiring. It was plug and play and never had another issue. Would I get them again? Yes. It has been worth the trade-off. I, too, kept the incandescent bulb technology.
