2009 Toyota Tacoma Two wheel drive

Please help!
My 2009 Toyota Tacoma runs great but shuts off while I’m driving ( when I’m idling) and will not start up again until the engine has cooled down. The scanner has been reading a knock sensor code since 2019 long before this problem started in 2024.
