Anyone know of Torx (torques) screws that will replace existing Phillips screws??? Trying to make my hooks somewhat theft resistant. Or I’m open to other ideas. I searched this topic but couldn’t find anything other than just replacing the Phillips.

I doubt someone is going around stealing rope hooks from 20+ year old trucks.

judging by the look of those, and the fact they are JIS. I think anyone will have a hard time removing those.

Theft prevention is all about deterrents, and I don't think someone is going to come around with a impact philips to get those off. You would be battling the battery powered angle grinder.

If you're in a theft area, I'd be more concerned about the cats.

These are "tamper proof" screws. there's a stud in the screw head and hole in the tool. Most common pattern is torx, but they come in phillips and hex head too. Match up your thread and might as well get some chrome plated ties if you're going to take the old ones off.
