Recently the truck on the highway going 70-75mph will stutter and lose power until I let go of the gas and drop my speed. After dropping speed it’ll gain power back. No CEL on.
Did it once about 3 weeks ago and after that it was fine until recently.

Spark plugs/Coils/Fuel Injectors/Air intake filter are all in fairly good shape.

    What’s y'all thoughts on this?

    1. Not every DTC results in a CEL and the only way to know this is with an in-depth scan

    2. you should read live measured values data especially when it happens

    3. air filter is a small part of the equation. If you have something like bad gas or a dying fuel pump failing to deliver adequate fuel it doesn’t matter the condition of your air filter.

spark is not hard to get. Air is not hard to get. Fuel is hard to get. If a vehicle does not deliver the right amount of fuel it does not matter if it has a spark plug and pipe to get air.

unfortunately I am pretty sure these trucks are not designed to give you a usable CEL any time something is slightly off like a German car. I bet you it is programmed in such a loose low-standard/not-caring way so that the brains of the truck do not register a problem even if there is a problem, to give the appearance of reliability in online stats and reduce dealer warranty claims.

I am not suspecting fuel injectors. But I do know if my truck had work out injector basket filters, worn out spray patterns (which it would at this time) it wouldn’t give a CEL (nor on a German car); it would just run worse.
    OBD was made for emissions.

Beginning of January 2025 I had to replaced the fuel tank due to a incident on the highway.

Do you have the ability to watch live data?

I'd be watching fuel trim,STFT LTFT B1 B2 etc. If there's a fueling issue it will start showing +10 +20 +30, but it takes time to trigger the code.

This sounds related to the tank. Ideally you'd run a fuel gauge as well, but thats another purchase.
