    the 3.5 has its share of problems, too. Multi-thousand dollar timing cover leaks repairs, crossover pipes, and now many more things cropping up in the 3g forum as they age…just like every vehicle ever made.

    3.5 v6 higher tow rating, ill ask you in 6 years how your hybrid is doing. Ill probably be on my 2nd battery and just breaking in the engine.

    2024 SR5 4x4 long bed
    It might have a theoretical higher towing capacity, but it will run out of payload long before you get there. My 4G has 450lbs more payload than either of my 3Gs.

    Plus I’d much rather tow my 3600lb boat with my 4g than any 3g. It’s just so much better with all that low rpm power


    And for most trims, they don’t have higher towing.
