Hey guys I need help finding the parts to outfit my trailer park trash SR trim taco with fog lights. Honestly I dont know if its even possible to install the factory style on the SR trim. I know the fog light switch will have to be different because the OEM switch is on the turn signal handle with the headlights.

I'll probably end up going with these https://caliraisedled.com/products/fog-light-replacement-kit-for-2024-tacoma

I'm not sure how or if the bumper is different on the SR trim vs trims with fogs. It looks like it might be as easy as cutting the blank "knockouts" out where the foglights go and mounting the bracket to the backside of the bumper. I could be completely wrong.
    Thanks!

I also have an SR and have been interested in getting some fog lights. I hope you get the answer.

I just swapped out the bottom plastic bumper on my truck. As far as I remember, that black plastic piece that has the blanks for the fog lights, does not have mounting holes/tabs on it. The fog lights housing has tabs on it that mount to part of the grill behind it. You can cut out the blanks. But I am not 100% on the SR bumper & grill setup vs mine (TRD Sport).
You will probably either need to remove the bumper and look at it or just ask a dealership service center if they can be added without too much trouble.

    EDIT:
I missed the link to the Cali-Raised lights. They have their own mounting brackets, so you should be good.

Also interested in this mod for an SR as it will likely be the trim I go with when prices drop at end of the year. Wish the cali raised lights were actually amber and not yellow tho…

Has anybody actually confirmed whether or not the SRs are prewired for fogs yet? Would be awesome if all you had to do was plug them in and swap the turn signal stalk.

You've probably got a wire connection already there for them.

In my experience with a variety of vehicles it’s about 50/50 as to whether or not the wiring is there. For example I know the gen2s only had prewiring if you had the “base upgrade” package which is also something similar that is offered in this gen. My wife’s 2023 base pilot does not have fog light prewiring but my 2012 base Forester did… it’s a crapshoot basically depends on how the assembly line is setup and whether or not having a separate workflow for the wiring offsets the small cost saved on materials.

I can't see or feel any wiring. Not to say it's not there. But without the switch on the turn signal stock, I doubt there is any wiring. Mine does have the SR upgrade package but I still don't see any wiring.
