When you say turn off the FOB I assume you mean disable it, so you have to stick the key in the lock?

Hyundais and KIAS are like like top of the list for theft.........nevermind the KIA Boyz lol

I think Hondas are at the top too, along with Chargers.

Scotty Kilmer has us covered for stopping car theft lol :

fortunately, all you have to do to turn the fob back on is push one of the buttons. This way, you don’t necessarily need to use the key to get in.

Ah yeah true. I was just thinking from a hassle perspective but that makes perfect sense, will need to test this out.

I was in a coffee shop not long ago the guy sitting next to me was telling his friend how he had moved from CA to here (NC) and his sister still lives in SF. The smash and grabs are so bad, many leave their windows down 24/7 with nothing in the cars. She asked, what if it rains, and he said, they still leave the windows down. Good grief.

What level of insanity have we reached where people have to live like that?

It's the decay and decline of society that seems to have started in the late 1960's and early 1970's for multiple reasons. Get ready, because it's only going to get worse.

Although it's nothing like that outside of the big cities. Here in the central valley and foothills it tends to be more concervative than most people see. Not too much unlike alot of the Midwest (born and raised). Actually Ca., in general has had enough. Gov. Gruesum is more than nervious. Much like the rest of the nation is waking up.
