    In all seriousness I am glad OP is OK and His truck is back to (almost)new condition. Luckily it wasn't ratshot, which likely would have not only totaled the truck but also torn a hole in the fabric of time, space, and reality as we know it.

    They get gloves, hydration breaks, and squares assigned to them. Squares get done, they are done. Pine cones need to be picked up before I can mow (mow about 6 acres, pines are on the perimeter), so it is not a matter of punishment. Everybody has chores on the farm. Sometime we do not pick when we do them. I had not planned on spending 3+ hours digging a single hole for a tree yesterday. They do not always plan on picking the pine cones.
