3D printed adapter for 3rd party microphone

Hey y’all! I searched all over the internet for a solution to using the OEM microphone with a 3rd party stereo head unit, but couldn’t find anything that seemed simple. After toying around with different locations for the third party mic, I decided to go ahead and reverse engineer the OEM mics mounting mechanism to accommodate the 3rd party mic. So far it’s working perfectly, and I love having the microphone out of sight out of mind!

You sharing the STL? Even without the same mic, it would be a good starting point for someone to modify

 

Oh dang, how did I not see that around? Lol. That looks 3D printed as well. I have a few tweaks to make and then I’ll throw it up on Thingiverse
