Wheels are Method, were on the truck when I bought it. Lug nuts are different to say the least, and require an adaptor, but are rusting!!!

    My Q’s

    1. Is this normal?
    2. While not optimal, would I even be able to mount the stock spare tire to get me out of the woods should I get a flat?

    1) Normal. Yeah, probably. Not normal for every lug nut out there but for cheaper ones, if they've seen a lot of use (takin on/off a lot), or were used in areas that are prone to rust. Unless they're made of stainless steel or aluminum they're going to rust as soon as whatever coating they have on them begins to wear off.

    2) In an emergency situation, you're probably alright. The smart move is to carry as set of 6 stock lug nuts in your glove box for when you need to use the spare. The genius move is to buy a matching wheel/tire you can use as your spare, then start doing 5 tire rotations :)
