    I had a similar moment Saturday. Took the kids to see the hockey team come home, they won hockey east for the first time in 21 years. She was very shy, but I went with her and got a bunch of signatures on her jersey, she even met her crush the team captain. Afterwards she said, “ thanks for going with me dad, I wouldn’t have dared do that myself”. Just about made me tear up on the spot.
