    Boring!

Could well have turned off after the first lap.

Offseason of forgotten how biased and awful Sky was.

Lap 55/56 with a 5+ second gap between cars, they suggest Ferrari switch cars.

Ferrari has Hamilton pit a second time and Sky talks about how brilliant a move it was despite the performance of those who started on the hard and that no one else who had done a second so having any advantage.

Post race paddock, they asked Liam the same question five times even though he and Horner had answered it.

After last season's sackings, it appears that even the usually fair minded Karun has been sent the memo.

McLaren need to designate a #1.

How Ironic! After a brilliant sprint race Ferrari gets back in line, then DQ'd Damn. Mclaren restores order albeit it was close with Norris's brakes giving out. One more lap he would've plummeted

I completely disagree...it was a great race. Since I am a McLaren fan, I am not going to talk about them in this response to show that there were other aspects of the race that were awesome. The overtaking was amazing, especially in the first 4 turns. The man to watch during this race was Ollie Bearman.....he was an overtaking machine! Haas actually looks good in this race. Too bad about Yuki and that late breaking front end....he should have been up in the points.

I did not think it was boring - if so I would have turned it off. Good race.

    The weight thing......hmm......so close
    The plate thickness......................SHIT!

To have three cars disqualified due to technical violations after the race is unusual. Maybe the FIA is getting a bit more strict this year with the standards enforcement.

Makes you wonder how long teams have gotten away with it.

Not much. Russell was DQ in 2024 for being underweight and both Hamilton and Leclerc were DQ in 2023 for excess plank wear. IIRC there have also been a couple of fuel flow or quantity issues in the not very distant past.

Maybe it's a result of the stupid sprint race format which leaves teams with less time to focus on the very fine details.

Made Checo's day. At least Liam still has a seat. Good luck to Yuki, he'll need it.

You have to search long and hard to find a professional sports team that is dysfunctional as Red Bull.

Fishlips has been at Red Bull for almost the entire development of the current spec car so he has been able to develop with the car and incrementally adapt his driving style. Verstappen was the better driver from 2016 to 2018 but Riccardo held his own and would have done better without some bad luck. After that the car continued to develop and we saw short term teammates in Gasley and Albon. Perez didn't totally suck at first in 2021 but he but wasn't able to keep up with the car's evolution and was finally fired in 2024. The next victim was Lawson and next one will be Tsunoda. 2026 will be a test for Homer (yes, Homer) and Fishlips. Will Red Bull hire a top tier driver to develop along with the new spec cars or will they hire another punching bag so that Verstappen has a clear number two? Maybe Verstappen is actually that good but maybe another top talent will sign and show Verstappen his ass.

The soccer team I love and follow from back home (Portugal) makes RB look like a bunch of amateurs in that department.

Lots of teams on the grid would love RB's run of "dysfunction". I don't see developing a car around the most talented driver on the current grid being a bad strategy. It's obviously a feast or famine sort of gamble, but they feasted for a bit and still aren't out of it this season.

The China GP was a fun, but I'm a Haas guy, so of course I had fun with a double points finish. Crazy the difference between the first two weekends, even ignoring the races since one was very different weather.

So Gasley, Albon, Riccardo and Perez were crap drivers?

The cars can be set up different for each driver, they could bring two different cars if they wanted (not that it's financially feasible) I think Max is just that good of a driver right now. I think a lot of the other drivers would agree with that as well.
