Looking for help deciding what audio upgrade I should do for my 2023 Tacoma TRD Offroad (Non JBL)

I want an audio system that gives me consistent, crystal clear, and pre-tunes audio at any volume, my issue with the stock (Non JBL) system is how out sounds shallow and at louder volumes the system loses clarity. Im looking for a speaker upgrade for now that I can use factory mounting, plugs, and AMP. For now im looking to do a speaker upgrade that will give me crystal clear and high quality audio and possibly a subwoofer addition later on. Money isn't an issue, I just want the best of the best and I have narrowed down my option to these two listed below:

    Option 1: FOCAL: Plug & Play 6 Speaker Bundle Upgrade | '16 - '23 Tacoma:

Option 2: OEM AUDIO+ Speaker Upgrade for the 2016-2023 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab:image.jpg

The speaker-only upgrade won't get what you're looking for. The head unit power is the weak link in the system. An amp is essentially a requirement to actually get better sound

I just did the focal kit and I love it. I have a potential grounding issue causing the slightest bit of noise but I am confident I can manage that with the big 3 upgrade or changing the grounding point. I added the focal kit, a 5 channel amp, and a 10 inch shallow mount sub and love it. I will say I tested just the speakers with stock power from head unit and was also very impressed. The Focal speakers are extremely sensitive so they can do a lot with very minimal power. And the fronts have impressive lows so waiting on a sub wouldnt be unbearable in my opinion. Very clear sound. That being said, the head unit power is definitely a weak link. I almost did the kenwood amp and powered sub kit as well from trail grid. Would have been a more straightforward solution than what I did for sure.
