HELLO. I've got an old yota with the greatest/slowest 4 banger that ever graced an engine bay... anyways. I plan on wheelin and drivin the thing long distances this summer and wanted to pick some of your guys' brains. what do you carry as spares or extra parts when on long excursions? I can guess the basics like fuses and maybe a fuel pump but anything else these things have that's prone to failure one should bring along?

Depends on if you have replaced all the weak points in the drivetrain? Your sig says it’s SAS, so I assume you are running hysteer? Dual cases? Are you always going to be within an uber ride from a Napa? Are you wheeling and if so what size tires? Efi or carb(22r or re)

Lots of these are unnecessary if you have upgraded to chromo hub gears, rcv axles, etc.
Trunnion bearings, 1 set hub gears, 1 fj80 tre, 1 birf,1 long inner, 1short inner, 1 front wheel bearing/races, 1 front axle seal, 1 rear wheel bearing and seal, tcase rear/front output seal, 1 front brake line,
igniter, afm, 1plug wire, 1 spark plug, COR relay, fuel pump and fuel line with efi clamps
    Clutch slave, 1 rear ujoint
I can axle grease, 2 qts gear oil

and if you are wheeling hard add: 1 rear axle shaft(without backing plate or brakes), tcase output shaft

Bitchin! sounds like a shopping list... I got RCVs with CHromo hub gears I haven't installed yet so that will be eliminated. Do have Histeer, 6 shooter knuckles, 4-1 low range single tcase, 35 inch tires, 22re fool injected, w56 5 speed. thanks for the insight! what is COR relay?
