Just picked up some rrw wheels. It’s rrw rr7-v and it’s basically a gloss black ring with Matt black wheel. Not sure how I like them. Kind of wish I got regular rr7 hybrids in matte

    what are your thoughts?

I think its a nice looking wheel. My only complaint isn't exclusive to your wheel style but black wheels in general. They only look good by design when your really up close because once you get a little ways away, they all lose there design enhancements and become black circles.

I bought a very similar design by KMC for my Taco but bought the option that doesn't black out the center disk but just lightly fogs it black matte so you can pick out the turbine effect from a distance.

I just don’t know how I feel about the gloss black fake beadlock ring and the matte black wheel. I feel like all same color would be better. And I kind of wish I went with the hybrid where I could actually put a real beadlock ring

Some dirt and brake dust will make the entire thing matte black. Looks good!

It's always a tough call getting the desired effect. You just never know how it's gonna look till the cash has been paid ant they're mounted up!

I still think it's a good looking wheel.

I prefer unpainted since they won't chip while wheeling. Mine are black and already have gouges.

In general I’m not a fan of the fake bead lock rings but I do love the way those wheels look, especially on your black truck.

I’m biased since I also have black wheels on my black truck.

I'm just OK with them... there are much nicer ones out there, IMO.

I was literally about to type this. I like to keep my wheels clean on all my cars. First thing I thought was nightmare to clean. Other than that nice looking wheel.

Also have to consider weight and strength of the wheel.
