Hello, I am looking for a set of tires that are best for my tacoma... I do little to no towing and daily the truck with occasional light offroading and crawling. I have no snow where I live and I want the most balanced tire for my truck and I have narrowed it down to either BFG KO3/KO2 OR Falken Wildpeaks AT4W/AT3W? Also im choosing 265/75/R16

Look at the Milestar AT Pro. It’s an all weather all terrrain snow rated.

Honestly, both of those are more aggressive than you need, and I THINK the BF Goodrich is only available in an E rating. Not sure about the Falken's. A SL or P rated tire is all you need. They may not LOOK as cool, but something with a less aggressive AT tread will do what you want to do. They'll cost less, last longer, be quieter and ride better. Michelin is never a bad choice. But between the 2 I'd probably choose the Falken's.

I do like the size. They are about 1" taller than stock, same width. Just enough to look a bit better with no real downsides. In fact, that size is often less expensive than factory size.

Check out the Falken Rubitrek A/T. Slightly less aggressive than the AT4W.

Or the Yokohama Geolandar AT4. Amazing tire, still new and not a lot of people running them yet.

    - ICON UCAs, BP51/Kings, SCS wheels, 285s, Leer 100XR canopy. Greenlane aluminum winch bumper, Smittybilt X20 winch. Trying Falken AT3w now, Really like BF KO2s.
I’d go with the Falken AT4w in SL, Toyo ATIII in SL, Nitto Ridge Grappler in SL. The Toyo is the cheapest.

When you say you do occasional light off roading and crawling are you talking about rock crawling or mall crawling? Sounds like to me you don’t need the aggressive tires you list. Sounds like you are going for looks rather than practicality. If for looks it doesn’t matter which of the two you choose. If for everyday highway use then look at less aggressive tires which likely will cost muc( less.

Just saw a couple other posts you made today. Appears it’s all about looks. Just go with the wheels and tires that look good to you.

Firestone destination at2 has some sweet looking side knobs but rolls well and won't kill your mileage. I almost got them before finding a great deal on some Pirelli scorpions at+.
