My car ('14 3.5l Accord, vtec btw) was recently totaled with hail damage and I was fortunate enough to inherit my dad's 2018 Tacoma. It's got about 111,000 miles on it, but he's maintained it well and other than the odometer the car looks and drives like it's brand new. I'm hoping to build the truck a little bit, still want the "stock" look, but eventually I want to swap out the OEM grille (Probably for an OEM TRD Pro grille lol) and get some new rims/tires. Maybe a lift if I decide I want to go big with the wheels/offset. Other than blinding LED headlights the car is stock.

Nevertheless, there's no point in "building" it if I'm not going to continue to take care of it as my dad did. I would like to do as much maintenance as I can myself. I've always wanted to maintain my car on my own, but I wasn't comfortable getting underneath my old Accord after a friend-of-a-friend passed away in high school working on his coupe when the jack failed. I know it's safe when done correctly but from the ages of 16-22 I figured at some point I'd get careless and there might be no turning back if I did. I'm going to graduate college soon and I want to make this truck last as long as possible.

Any tips would be appreciated, I've found some overview guides for maintaining 3rd gens on YouTube, but seeing as I just made an account I figured I might as well ask in my first post.

This is basically the look I'm ultimately going for, nothing specific just the general idea
