If you can afford it get new front bump stops. The oem ones are hard as hockey pucks, wheelers or durobumps are way better if you do any offroading or have a rough commute.

I see no reason to replace the oem bump stops with my Bilstein 5100's set @ 2", and 1" block in the rear. Your spacer lift is what's causing you concern.

Now saying that, any time you off road, there will be tons of times that you will bottom out. That is why we have them.

Bilstein 6112/5100 at 2” (6/8 circlip, 3/8” top spacer, sway bar drop bracket, YotaWerx Black Hawk 2.0 tune, Borla Pro XS exhaust, Freedom Off-Road UCA’s, Alphrex Luxx Series smoked taillights, Westin bull bar, 265/65r18 Cooper Rugged Trek tires, 18x9 Anthem Off-Road wheels -12 offset, 4.5 backspace. Rock Sliders that I fabricated.
Yeah the Bilstein coilovers are extended travel, so they can hit the bump stops. But the oem coilovers are not. So an upgrade to my bump stops is necessary until I get my 6112’s. In terms of my spacer level kit, yeah was ignorant when I installed it. And did not plan to off-road the truck. But last summer I did a few times and LOVE it. So now I need to make the truck more off-road capable.

I've been thru a few bump stops and by far my favorite setup is Wheelers Superbumps up front and the Archive Speed Bumps in the rear. So plush when you hit them.

I wouldn't space the stock bumps. The idea is upgrade them and not have your truck break your spine when you bottom out.

Yeah I may go that route after I get my Bilstein’s and I’m unsatisfied with how the shocks perform When they bottom out on the oem bump stops. I’m just getting some extensions right now. I’m only concerned about the shocks bottom out, causing damage.

You are definitely overthinking this, and I hope you don't hate your truck after making these changes. But to each their own.

Go run some hard g outs back to back with a better bump you bet you'll notice a difference.

Well, it is getting nice out and I want to hit some trails I saw on OnX, so I rather be safe then sorry. Be a few months before I get my Bilsteins, so a 26 dollar investment in some extensions to my oem bump stops is well worth it. I don’t want my stock shocks to bottom out. With my 3” lift, they may before hitting the bump stops. This will ensure they don’t. Make sense to me. Also, if I was waisting my time, I believe others in this thread would have pointed that out. Tacoma World has never let me down. Very experienced and knowledgeable people in here that I highly respect. Unlike some of the Tacoma Facebook forums.
