I recently got a long range tank so I no longer need my Jerry can holder. This box is great. Holds most of my camp kitchen.

anyone figure out something with the latches to make them easier to reach?

Your bumper looks great! I will be installing mine soon and had a question. Aren't you supposed to measure from top of a bedside to quarter inch below tail light then take that measurement and measure down the same for other side of cut?

    list is growing fast
Para cord from the latch up through the swing arms attached to wood dowel handles to reach from the back. Pull, open, Easy.

Unsure if it’s exactly 1/4” from the bottom of the tail light. Instruction say 17.75” from the top of bed, so I did that and marked it on the blue tape. Then I cut shy of that line so I had extra material to remove with a flap disc wheel. I didn’t want to cut exactly on 17.75” with a cutoff wheel incase I messed up.

    Cool.
"Measure ¼” below the tail light about 17.75” on the 3rd gen and take the same measurement at the fender flair and mark a line."

I copied @RangerComa except added some old bike grips for handles, and some plastic sheathing over the paracord where it wraps around the metal edges. Works well and sure beats crawling under everything to open them up.

Exactly. I think I made the knot around a washer because the knots alone will eventually pull through the grip plastic. I'll probably upgrade to some worn out Ergons soon for a more ergonomic handle.

Got my bumper yesterday and installed it last night. I'm looking forward to dragging this thing around the Sierras. Jerry cut about 2 in off of it to match my fender trim.
I found the install of this by myself much more challenging than the front bumper which I also did by myself. I used a floor jack, jack stands and some cam straps that were hooked to the rafters in my garage to get it into place. This thing is built so well and it fits onto the frame so precisely.
I'm interested to see how these rub rails work. It is my assumption that I can use them kind of like a rock slider and pivot off of things. My truck is so long that the ass end is an issue in tight spots.
