1GR-FE Turbocharged?

Either in the ProCharger thread, or the F/I dyno thread that I started, there should be a dynochart of someone's truck.

 

If memory serves me correct, I recall a Procharger making 350+ wheel HP. Can't recall if this was a 2nd or 3rd Gen with bolt ons though. Nothing too fancy. Could have sworn it was a justdsm/Justin post.

What my setup has been able to produce. Cast pistons, bC rods, head studs, BC cam regrind, kelford springs, pulsar 6466, 1700cc injectors, dual fuel pumps

Just signed up to TW. Here's my 2013 Xrunner with a S366 @ 7.5 psi. I have my brother's @RedLantern old hotside. Fabbed up my own intercooler piping. Its tuned with Hptuners, but im really intrigued with @Xrunner2nv and @Torspd using Haltech to get rid of their Maf . Cheers!

Hey Torspd, not sure if you remember my brother asking you to make a hotside for me, lol. Yeah, the kit is awesome, only thing I had to modify was the air injection port on the heads. Headers were made for pre air injection, and exhaust flange didnt cover the ports. I just tapped, plugged the ports, and they're leak free.

Also wanted to ask you about your Haltech, are you using it as a full standalone or piggyback? Want to know if it's a piggyback, is it so you keep the factory stuff like security chip key function, airbags, CEL, etc.?

 

I certainly do remember.

It is used it as a piggy back, specifically keep those functions. Otherwise, that'd mean I would have had to get the Haltech dash.

Damn, Boomslang only makes tacoma 1grfe harnesses only up to '08, I've got a '13. Would you know the differences between the years ECU? Also would I need to get ECU returned back to stock? Maybe get an '08 ECU, thoughts? Thanks for all your input!

 

A wise man on here once repinned and soldered the 05-08 ecu plugs onto a 09+ ecu. That way he could use the UCON on his 09+, we'll before URD made the new plugs. That thread still exists, with fine details.

That would work. The other way, is to get a UniChip harness for the 09+, and send that to Boomslang. Then they can make their harness work with the Unichip to work with the 09+ ecu.

That has been done before as well. A member on here with a turbo XRunner did that. I helped simply by sharing that knowledge, and it worked.

 

So if I got something like this and sent it to Boomslang........
