2019 tacoma trd pro grill front camera mounting

I used a beat sonic front camera and interface and switch ,will be posting a picture of switch mounting soon ,as far as mounting used raptor light mounting bracket off previous raptor light uninstall ,figued this would be the best option out there with no drilling or cutting into grill ,hope this helps someone planning on installing a camera on a trd pro grill ,this was the easiest install I have done yet to my 19 Trd pro mods

 

Nice, clean install! This is what I’ve been looking for! I really don’t like the camera’s mounted lower, right above the TSS sensor. Looks like crap, and sticks out.

Can you provide the model specifics on your camera? Where would I find the Raptor light mounting plate? Thanks!

 

The camera I used was a beat sonic birds eye view front camera, $175,but is a WIDE angle view camera I really like better than all the other I used ,better quality ,the raptor grill light I got from yotaleds.com for $65 or so from a previous install that I took off cause i really wanted the camera in that spot ,just used the center bracket ,hated to cut light off to get bracket but it was worth it in the end .hope this helps ,all the wiring and camera is from beatsonic .com

 

I also have seen pictures online of the 2020 Tacoma trd pro grill and if I'm not mistaken the front camera is close to being in the same spot I installed mine .

 

better for me is the switch in my application ,just as easy on other ones I'm sure for other options

I used Car Solutions. No need for added switch. Plug in play. Uses mode switch on steering wheel. No problem with install.

 

Hope the camera install on grill gives people on this forum an easy way to install.

Thats a really creative solution. I am installing a 360 degree camera setup and was trying to think through the mounting bracket. I have a set of unused raptor lights so this is saving me a huge headache. Thanks for sharing!
