    while we were listening to that AGM meeting his hands slipped and cut my passenger side :sadviolin:

    so the only logical solution was to cut the driver side to make it even. :sawzall:

    Should be interesting soon…

    I was at the meeting today as well. Other stuff that was discussed was the Highland Corridor Initiative that would change about 8000 Ha of crown land into conservation reserve in the Haliburton area. That may have an impact on motorized use in the area. Things are at an early stage and the OF4WD is already on this.
    Another item of interest is the OF4WD app coming out in April. The app will is created by the same company that makes the OFSC and QuadON apps. It will be included with your OF4WD membership. The app will have all the same trail info as the web based trail map has.

    I haven’t replaced my winch line yet, but when I do I’ll likely go with Afraid Knot Ropes. They’re a Canadian company located in Kawartha Lakes.

    Anyone know if remote tailgate lock was an option on 2017 DCSB ?
    Called the dealer and they could not find the kit / part ?
    Might go for popNlock then, but went through dealer as I had read that the OEM option had better quality...

    did you tell the dealer you had a 2019+? (think 2019 had them in the limited?)
    some part-monkey wont know to check other year/ wont know you're trying to retrofit

    I might do this as well, for whatever reason over the winter my tailgate lock has gotten really tough to turn the key to unlock...

    From what i found;
    Part numbers
    PK3B6-35JS0 (Short Bed)

    PK3B6-35JL0 (Long Bed)

    I'll give them another ring.

    Not sure about fit, but I gave UJT a call and they want $250 for the PK3B6-35JS0 part number.
    they took a quick check and it appears it's a full kit to plug and play.

    Looking at another site

    34JA0 - Actuator/ bracket
    34JP0 - Wire protector
    34JT0 - Tailgate wire harness
    34JB0 - Short bed body harness

    issue is, where does it plug into cabin side?

    Found this;
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ejq_Y6OjakE

    EDIT: according to the video, you get a pigtail and connect in at the power distribution on the passenger side

    Back in 2017, I built my own based on a write-up here on TW, and astonishingly, something I built myself is still working without an issue today. Of course now that I’ve said that it will probably break tomorrow. I have no idea what the parts cost me back then but it was definitely less than $100.

    Well, at least it wasn't the rear brakes this time :bananadead: Alternator crapped out completely on the highway. Had to be carried home on a bigger 'Yota truck (Hino):
