I’ve read a lot about the OTT but I’m curious is there anything else out there that anyone uses and has great success with. I currently have a 21 Tacoma SR on 34’s and I do not plan to do any gear swap due to cost. I’m just looking for a little less gear hunting when climbing up north to the mountains on the weekends and a little more get up and go when I’m the freeway in town, but Was curious if anyone has used other tuners such as bully dog?

I’m coming from A Yukon and Nissan Titan, which both had it and I loved but don’t really see much on it for Tacoma’s

I got a yotawerx tune flashed when my truck was on stock gears and 33s. It was a noticeable difference, but you wont be satisfied until you toss in a set of 5.29s, or at least i wasnt.

@Ilikeyourtaco I've been fortunate enough to get involved in providing custom calibrations years ago now and I wouldn't pit anything against the successful outcomes this flash tuning can provide. It's not that you're getting a race truck, it's that the OEM calibration is suboptimal (to say it kindly). Get a proper throttle and shiftpoints with a stock setup or go all in with regearing, 35s, and hey a supercharger....you'll need a proper tune to make it worth the investment because just a pedal commander, just a regear, or just leaving it stock are again suboptimal.

As for services, I am based in Virginia but offer remote tuning to help anyone right in their own driveway anywhere across the US. Here is a sample of the owners locations across the US we've helped provide professional remote tuning support and calibrations through today!
Consider the remote services of Tidewater Customs for the latest ECU/TCU 'Elite' calibrations created by for the most up-to-date offering on the market today! Not hype, just results!!
