Standard hitch receiver should work depending on trailer height. Otherwise, get the drop hitch and flip it 180 degrees. You'll tow a little high, but better than too low with the risk of becoming unhitched.

There’s no advantage to the manual trans in towing anymore. That’s why even big trucks are going to autos

Bro I'm not going to sit here and argue with you. Lol!!
I'll take my manual pulling up the hill with anything you got behind any of your automatics any day.
People are lazy and just complain a lot here dude That's why they're switching to automatics here otherwise if you see heavy loaders nobody switching to automatics dude everybody's got like a 16 gear shift....

You’re the one who made the comment that the manual is better. Except it does literally nothing in a towing situation better than a modern auto. I’ll take my 4g auto towing uphill over your manual any day. More gears, torque multiplication, smoother power delivery on the launch ramp, etc

Cool, an AI summary of outdated thoughts based on old opinions. Very authoritative.

There’s nothing about a manual in a 4g taco that makes it tow better than an automatic.

I think you need to do some homework bro
If you want to compare your new truck go ahead and do that but a manual still going to kick its ass bro do your homework

I tested both the 2" and 4" drop on my OR. Found the 2" drop hitch (almost looks straight) worked better for me. The weight of the tongue brought the boat/trailer almost to perfect level.

I’ve done tons of homework and tow all the time. I also listed several reasons a modern auto is better. there’s a reason everything, including semi trucks, are moving that way
