So I will start off by admitting this was a self inflicted accident. I bought an after market head unit and was installing it. I ended up not liking it and took it back out. While hooking the original head unit back up, I got a sparking when connecting the power supply back.

This blew the radio fuse which was easy to replace. Now for the bad part.

I am now having the following issues.
    • Sliding glass window switch has no power
    • A/C Blower works, but only blows through Defroster (mode knob does not change air flow)
    • Mirror Defroster will not turn on
    • Lane Departure Alert Malfunction Visit your Dealer error
    • Pre-Collision System Malfunction Visit your Dealer error
    • Tire Pressure Light is on
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Yikes! I hate electrical issues.

Have you tried disconnecting the battery, attempt to start (or turn on and off lights, windows, etc.), reconnect battery, and re-try? Also, while disconnected, check fuses for those problem areas.

I will try that now and let you know.

I bet you blew another fuse, I'd have to look at diagrams but start with checking any fuse labeled ECU and IGN.

Yea looking at the diagrams I bet you blew the ECU-IG No2 fuse (7.5A) and/or the ECU-ACC Fuse (7.5A) in the interior fuse box.

    Welcome to the forum :hattip:

I hope you can get this sorted without a trip to the dealer. :fingerscrossed:

Many have discovered that these trucks have super sensitive electrical systems and a seemingly minor spark can turn into a big repair. Always disconnect the negative battery terminal when doing any kind of electrical work.
