I bought one of the stickers and it will go with the headers when they sell. Figured I'd grab one in case they eventually end up on my truck and to reduce the effort to the buyer.

I was wondering if maybe TRD just didn't bother renewing the CARB cert for 03/04 or if there was a change to emissions regulations for 2003+ that made it so they couldn't

Or yeah, maybe TRD just knew they were going to discontinue them and figured they didn't need to spend the money on more CARB certs for more years, probably the most likely scenario

Just dreading the day my normal smog guy isn't around anymore and I get told I have to remove them :boom:

I thought the 95.5/96 Tacomas couldn't be supercharged unless you swapped the ECU for a 97+, something about the timing with the early truck's ECUs. Or if you run a standalone ECU like a haltech

Awesome, yeah I just edited my comment to add the haltech bit right after I posted lol. That's definitely the way to go.

I don't see why the headers wouldn't work but hopefully someone with the same year can confirm

Not sure they would fit, iirc the trucks with a single cat and trucks with 2 cat downpipes use different Y pipes. So something might have to be modified to fit. I have not had the time to keep up with this and if I were to sell them at this point, it'd be best to pm about them. I am unsure if theyve made it out east with a lot of my other parts...

Just not as active as I used to be here.
