Two days into this new subculture i didnt realize existed

I wouldn't recommend Kazkin. If your local distributor refuses to assist you Katzkin couldn't care any less, won't sell to you directly, and will direct you to the next closest dealer, no matter how far away they are. All I needed was a heated seat switch. I guess their wasn't enough money in the switch for them to help a customer.

Man i am hearing both ways on this Katzkin stuff. Some people are like "They're awesome" then others say they look like trash.
I just want black and white leather instead of the Vinyl or other synthetic material, I want the heated/ventilated seats to still work. It kind of looks like katzkin is the only option to keep that functionality and also being made of actual full hide leather not bonded leather, or Vinyl.

I can more easily maintain leather vs synthetic fabrics or materials. I like the look I like the smell I just generally prefer leather over other materials... i realize it may be kind of odd throwing nice leather seats in an overlanding truck, but its all about how i take care of them.

 

This was my wife's daily beater. Dealer installed and the car sat for a long time on the lot, we got a great deal. No complaints on the look, seemed to hold up well considering it was her daily driver. Service after the sale is important to me. Katzkin refusal to step in, step up, and help when their local Dealer wouldn't was beyond excusable to me.

 

That’s totally understandable. Post sale service is critical to myself as well.

 

I’m just pulling stuff off the Internet but every Katzkin install I’ve seen has wrinkling that looks like you’ve had it for 4 years the day you install it.

Maybe it’s just personal preference, I don’t mind the small wrinkles. The only thing I am not a huge fan of on leather are stains. Even some natural scars or a discreet/small brand etc such tell the story of the animal.

FWIW - I have Black Katzkins on my '17 OR. They were professionally installed from new, and still look like the truck came from the factory with leather. I'm very pleased, and have no worries in recommending them.
