New owner, New Member

Hello everyone,

I made the switch to buying my first Tacoma after getting rear ended in my Dodge Journey. Due to the Depreciation of the car, I sought out online the best vehicle with the highest appreciation and resale value just in case of another accident. The overall search lead me to the Tacoma even though the buying choice was between a used 2021 Silverado and a 2020 Tacoma. The Tacoma won and I got a lifetime powertrain and electronics warranty with it. I know, I know, everyone says it doesn't need a warranty cus it will last forever, but I wanted the piece of mind. I also checked the dealer sticker buildout and someone had it ordered with the Premium Sport, Technology, and Towing package. My immediate first mod was window tint and the OTT tune. Gotta have window tint cus nobody likes driving in a fishbowl and certainly not dragging ass up mountains. After I got the OTT tune it was like someone dropped in a v8. I just got an ARB bumper for it and I will be posting about that shop experience in the Local Virginia forums. Overall, I am extremely impressed with this truck so far and I'm positive I made the right choice.
