    @Road_Warrior

Hope the oil change/tire rotation went well!

I got 3 shots in my gums and a temp crown on the bottom of my right back tooth.

Worked out some finances with my wife and had dinner.

Looking forward to tomorrow and my drive up to Newark Toyota.

Getting a 4th Gen as loaner while my Sporty Spice gets TRD Suspension Upgrade.

Geez that doesn’t sound like a fun day lol

That’s pretty awesome you get a 4th gen as a loaner, I would be anxious that it would make me want to buy one

I’m not a fan of the exteriors though. Keep us posted on the new lift and how the loaner drives.

The numbness has passed and I was able to eat dinner without my mouth feeling useless. lol

Yes, I will keep you posted on Lift as well as the loaner 4th Gen.

Finances...a tight budget really leaves me not wanting another note to pay off!

I'm sure I'll enjoy the smell and feel of a new truck...and that's all I have to say about that! lol

Bought my 2015 Sport at Price Toyota. Best "Price" I could find. Never went back for anything. Had my free oil changes done locally.

    Good morning Fellas!

Welp, I drove to the dealership and got directions from Service Tech the shop was 5 minutes away.

Got in-checked and explained if they need to remove the TRD skid, I provided the Security Bolt adapter to remove the bottom half of the skid that joins the Talon CAT plate.

Also told them I have the adapter for the wheel lugs nuts...they said they have the master key.

"All parts are in the back seat," I said.

Then it was time to get the loaner...a 2024 Silver Tacoma Limited--Very Nice Ride!!!

The obvious feature is the Ginormous TV Screen...and while I had Cruise Control going, I noticed a HUD (Heads Up Display).

I also noticed the hood (area close to the windshield) vibrated/bowed while I was on the highway.

The overhead compartment where I usually put my glasses, hangs lower...which was noticeable because mine isn't that noticeable.

    Anyhow, here's some pics!

It sits rather high...at least, higher than my 3rd Gen Sport.

The automatic side-step thing is cool too!

I could get used to some automatic side steps! It would be nice to have the help getting in while also keeping the clean look of the truck while you’re driving. Assuming they’re the kind that fold up.

Well that still counts in my opinion. I’m gonna have to do all that stuff as well whenever we get the wife a new car later this year.

Yes, they are the kind that fold up.

I haven't tried to figure out all the button in the center console...ain't got time to read the manual and I don't wanna just press buttons...although, that's what I did to figure out Cruise Control. lol

Yeah the cockpit of that thing looks like a space shuttle compared to the 3rd gen

I bet the transmission is a lot smoother too.

It's got the iMAX indicator on the Dash and it goes round when I give it gas.

The suspension is much better than what my Sport has...I felt the difference on that left turn at DAFB North Gate.

This sucker has 18" wheels...no wonder it feels a little bit higher! Duh!!!

Does the suspension feel softer on the road? That was my gripe with the OEM hitachi shocks that came on my SR5, they were pretty stiff. My Bilstein 5100’s are too but at least I know they give me better off-road performance.
