In my 2007 tacoma I get a loud popping noise when turning full lock to the right. Has happened 2x in the last couple weeks. Any idea what it is? How does this lower ball joint look?

    "Looks" fine.

What you need to do is jack it up by the lower control arm so that the tire is off the ground, then grab the tire at 12 o'clock and 6 o'clock and try to wiggle it, looking/listening to see if there is any play in either ball joint (upper or lower).
Other possible areas to check are the control arm bushings, and the steering (tie rods, rack, rack bushings). For the steering, grab the tire at 9 o'clock & 3 o'clock and repeat.
