    Ahahaha.

African immigrant who runs some of the most important companies in modern history. Also the richest man in the world. He’s done more to change the world than almost anyone in recent times.

    Yeah total chump.

I will say I agree. He’s not an engineer.

Not like he came from some mud hut in the Serengeti, he had plenty of doors opened for him, and lots of help from the government. Without a well to do family and government welfare. Do you think he would be where he is today? Have watched some of his vehicle reveals, he seems clueless about the product, the other engineer on stage has to help him through the pitch and technical details. The Tesla Semi Truck reveal was painful to watch.

Is he a super genius or just a really good pitchman? Probably having a bunch of cultist that hang on his every word helps.

I have more respect for RJ Scaringe, even though he has no where near the success.

Saw our first Cybertruck while driving to work yesterday in the Model 3. It looks significantly worse in person.

Let's see, my 2005 Tacoma went for 17 years and 270,000 miles almost trouble free and was still in excellent condition when I traded it in. Chances of a Cyber truck getting anywhere close to that.... 0%. There's also the fact that I can drive around in my Tacoma without living with the thought that my truck was made by someone like Musk.

Not much different from Apple in that regard(cultists, that is). His affiliation with truth seems to be one of convenience which is par for pitch men but bottom line he has been successful in industries that have chewed and swallowed their share of entrepreneurs. Lately it’s been a lose/lose though since Toyota has lost sight of where they came from and the kinds of vehicles that broke down the barriers to the market and so now both chase higher income customers and higher margin sales. Body styling often lags on first gens and SS has manufacturing differences that probably require new tooling to get similar results to current body shaping methods. But even if they improve the lines it’s still an overpriced nitch market so unless one of them decides to prioritize affordability I won’t be buying a Tesla and this might be my last taco.

I have been seeing so many of them in my neighborhood and I can’t help but feel like the owners are suckers. So many reports of QA issues and the cast aluminum fracturing.

Will the Cyber Truck fit in your garage?

Bad day for Rivian stock yesterday.

I see a few CT a few GMC hummers, and I forgot bge has some of the Silverado EV. The way they are driven and what they are being used for, a gas powered equivalent could do it for less cost.

Yeah those GMC Hummers are popping up everywhere now.

My Tacoma barely fit in my garage so I’m pretty sure a CT wouldn’t

Hummer SUV is the better looking out of the two. I can see manufactures want to get their technology into the hands of consumers for real world testing, that can't be duplicated at any test facility. Downside is the electrification of transportation is going to come at the cost of private and public natural resources, farms forests and wetlands.

The new Hummer is definitely better looking. I feel like Honda had something going with the hydrogen powered vehicles and I hope to see it more widely used in the future.

The only way to get better at handling hydrogen is through doing it. Automotive safety didn’t happen overnight and is ongoing with every new model. We’re geniuses at breaking things.
