Looking for battery disconnect switch mounting options

    Greetings all,
    I am looking for some mounting ideas for a battery disconnect switch for my truck. I have a pesky dead short somewhere on my truck and haven’t had time to chase it down, so my interim fix is a mechanical switch to disconnect the battery, so my wife can use it as a backup rig if needed this summer.
    I was thinking about just using a post disconnect but all the cables are pretty stiff( big 3/4 upgrade is due in the future) and she has arthritis in her hands, so an easier option would be a switch. Which must of course be easy to access. Any input is welcome, tempus fugit?

    Lately the Tacoma is in layup since I rolled over 200k last trip down the AlCan.

    So the Tacoma is resting and getting some mechanical time( ok next winter), so as the diesel is the youngster now with only 175k, I decided to use it for the long drives, plus it hauls more and is more comfortable, and basically costs about the same to drive with more hauling capacity.

    Thanks, I do have a couple of those switches, I like that the terminals are pretty well shielded. I may end up getting a couple hobby plates( hardware steel section) and have to bend them up and slide/bolt it through the base underneath the battery cubby.
    I also have some old school cat switches, but these would be safer for her use.

    I like the switch design, just need some steel to bend up a mounting bracket and it’s good to go!

    I think this one will be a good short term solution.

    https://www.amazon.com/Bundle-Kohree-12-48V-Battery-Disconnect/dp/B08XZ2W7NZ - this one may get split up for installing the fuse panel in the diesel for the in cab accessory ports.

    Should be able to make something work. I think I’ll try the first one to see how well it works. Definitely has a much smaller foot print. Which might be preferred in the short term, next fall I’ll do a deep dive into the Taco- install the big 3/4? alternator wiring usingwelding cables- much more flexible- while chasing down the short.
    Always something it seems.
