Also -- Rhode Island has far worse drivers than Massachusetts. That isn't an opinion, that is a fact.

    back to bone stock.
one time a BMW cut me off badly. I have since wrestled my demons and I suffer from ZERO road rage. I dodged and moved on with my life. when I pulled up next to the driver, it was a middle age lady BAWLING. probably not the best condition to drive, but there we were. I took a left and got away...

I havent thought about that in a decade. I still wonder what is going thru the head of some people, but I'll never know.

Hate this. Always. Special stupidity points for the person at the head of the stop, sitting with no blinker on, right turn on red is allowed and there is no traffic stopping that. Person just sits. Light goes green, they turn. WTF? Especially stupid when they put the blinker on and turn in one fluid motion. What was the prior 2 minutes of just sitting there for?

Can relate with the last one especially. Though last year leaving a show and in the line to exit the parking garage, guy walks to his Mercedes and sees the huge line of bumper to bumper..starts the car and immediately puts it in reverse. Ignorning my horn and my brother in law yelling out the window, he crashes into the right rear bedside and bumper..gets out and says "oh where were you??"

One quirk of drivers where I live is they don't know how to use the god damn highway on ramp. Somehow they are always side by side with me where the on ramp merge ends. I stay the same speed when I know there is adequate space before or after me. They refused to speed up or slow down to merge in an available space. So at the end I gotta either gun it big time or slam on the brakes. INfuriating.

With CA drivers I notice many like to camp in the fast lane and hold up traffic. Like it's Sunday afternoon everyday. CA seems to enforce speed limits more than other states though.

Well, the west valley is technically Goodyear, Surprise, Avondale, ect. I suppose everything west of the 51 could fall into that category. :tumbleweed:

In my region, dark-coloured Hyundais/Kias are the preferred or "spec" rideshare/delivery vehicle. Almost all have a 360 limo tint.

Being a CA driver you have to look 100 yards ahead and behind you. We have a "lane splitting" law here where motorcylcles can pass wherever and whenever they please so lane changing in traffic can be an "issue" to your mirrors.

IMHO the majority of issues are due to lack of situational awareness. Most people have never driven anythng but an automobile - 1/2 ton truck and have no idea what the "law of tonnage" is. The law of tonnage is simple, the cement truck that weights 80,000 lbs has the "law" on his side even if he is doing something wrong.

In most states that have lane split laws, the lane splits are only legal under very specific circumstances. However, most bikes interpret "very specific circumstances" as wherever and whenever.

I have seen where sport bikes go down between lanes when they exchange mirrors at 20 mph and NO ONE gets out to see if this guy is OK, they are that pissed.
