Reddit help? Banned with multiple accounts but trying to make a new one

Title basically. I know a lot of you guys use reddit, so I figured this would be a good place to ask. I think I have two different accounts right now, and one is banned from a few subreddits, The other one is on the verge.
To be honest, I got banned for making a stupid joke, And then they banned my other account for "ban evasion". I still don't know how they figured out it was me, but that's exactly what I'm trying to avoid if I make a new account.

I hear they can track the IMEI of a cell phone, so they'll know if I log in to a new account.
I think they also attract IP addresses?

I'm just trying to find out the most idiot proof way to make a new account and not have it get banned.

I tried once before a few months ago And when I log back in on the phone, it still had all the info of the previous account so I'm sure that's how they knew it was me.

It's likely a hardware ban, they see your phone unique hardware numbers and match it to the browser.

I don't think a VPN will work here, you need a new device on top of ensuring you have a different IP.

I use reddit for browsing and I honestly think I'd better off if I got perma banned lol.

Honestly, I'm not even up to anything nefarious.. I got banned for a stupid joke and now they're punishing me for trying to get around the system. So maybe that part's a little shady..

 

Oh I get it, I got banned for a mild comment in one of the subs. I enjoy a few subs, and like to see the chaos in the feeds, but it certainly has power tripping mods and thin skinned users.

 

Exactly. I got permabanned for literally sending them a message asking why I was banned...

I do have an extra phone I can use to make an account, But I feel like since I've used Reddit from that phone before they'll know about that too.

 

Reddit is an echo chamber of ignorants uniting under a common club.

At least on Tacoma world, the rules are clear and the bans are consistent.

 

Here, that’d get you an extension of a non perma ban or maybe even a perma depending on the douche level of the post.
