I was looking to replace my 2012 Subaru Outback 3.6R. I used the Outback to pull a dual axle trailer and a Seadoo a few times a year. The last pickup I owned was a 1984 Nissan King cab 4X4 in red. I loved that little truck. Put well over 250K on it and other than rusting out, it was unstoppable. As a household we have owned many Toyotas and really like the brand. My wife is driving a 2014 Avalon Limited Hybrid and it's been a great car. I always liked Tacoma's and after recently retiring I thought what the heck. While Outback's are a beast in our upstate NY winter's. It was time for a truck. I did quite a bit of research and found a 2024 TRD Sport in Celestial Silver two hours away from me. The dealer had an advertised price $3200 under sticker and I was able to do most of the purchase online with them. It's got the 14" screen, lighted front emblem, bed scene lighting, and all the protective add ons Toyota offers. Door edge guards, door panel protectors, body side molding, mud flaps, Rigid fog lights.

Since bringing it home I've put on Westin 4" tubes in black, a really nice Tyger folding tonneau, black tailgate letters and silver painted covers to hide the black tear drops under the headlights. Still thinking of other things to do. Really having fun.
