Thanks @Road_Warrior - They stick out past the flares a little more than I hoped, but I just couldn't change them to a positive offset to move them in after seeing them on the truck. I'll likely change out the flares at some point to some black ones that are bit thicker. Thanks again Brother.

@bigd9247 Yes. Leveling kit was the first thing I did to the truck. Just can't have a 4x4 with a rake. Can't do it. NOPE.

Welcome aboard Sir! There is a wealth of information here to digest, and plenty of truck porn to drool over. Enjoy!

I got out my creeper, jacked her up, and painted the entire underside flat black black using Rustoleum high performance enamel, any direction spray, flat black. I hit the exhaust system and engine with Rustoleum high heat flat black. It wasn't glamorous, but I feel better about rust not growing on her belly.

New Tacoma owner. Maybe it’s just me but on the front of the truck under the headlights, those two dark areas look out of place. Found some covers that are close enough for me in color and do a nice job of disguising the crying look of my Tacoma

Looks good Pops! If you want to truly color match it to your Yota, go to automotivetouchup.com Also, your paint codes are on your door. The color code can be located in the driver side door jamb. The code will have a C/TR in front of it. A typical code will look like C/TR: 1J9/FH13, and 1J9 would be the color code in this example. (Celestial Silver) They sell small bottles, spray cans, paint pens, etc.

Thanks for the link. It’s funny you mention color matching. As soon as I first stepped back to look once these were in place I thought, how hard could it be to find the matching paint.

I personally like the factory rake. Especially when you load stuff in the bed then it would level the truck out. With the leveling kit, Now it will make the rear sink more than the front.

I am with you! Silver was an easier color to match right out of the box.
It is not exact, but very close (depending on the lighting).

It looks great. Those vented windoors with the narrow openings are the same as Leer uses and different from what Snugtop shows on their website. Did you request those specifically or is that just what they are using now? I like them better than the wider openings Snugtop has used in the past.

My dealer told me that Snugtop was still designing the Rebel when I put down a deposit in December 2024. He did tell me that the windoors would be different from prior years and the picture of other Rebels on the promo information did not show that. Back in December the Snugtop site did not show the Rebel as available for 4G Tacomas. It was pretty much sight unseen until it was delivered 6 weeks later. I did not know Leer uses similar windoors. As indicated in my first post, the windoors are an option you have to pay for ($200 each) and to my knowledge this style of windoors is the only one currently available for Snugtop Rebel.
