Replacement wiper motor - 2012

2012 TRD Sport Extended Cab

Hello, my OEM wiper motor (the actual motor, not the gear drive) decided to check out after 13 years and 106k miles. I bought a Cardone replacement through and found that the link arm is not compatible with my linkage. I removed the link from the motor assembly thinking I could just use the link from the arm assembly but the tapered splines don’t match. Before I buy an OEM motor, thought I’d ask the forum members if anyone has encountered this issue.
