    Hey everyone,

I need to replace the magnetic clutch on the A/C unit in my 2001 Toyota Tacoma V6 4x4. Lately, the truck’s been making a strange noise, and now the A/C indicator light won’t turn on at all. Based on advice I got here, it sounds like the clutch is failing—and if I don’t fix it soon, I’ve been warned it could seize and shred the serpentine belt.

Can anyone recommend a solid, trustworthy shop in the Raleigh, NC area that really knows these older Tacomas? I’ve had some sloppy work done around here in the past, so I’d really appreciate any solid referrals from folks who’ve been through this.

    Thanks in advance!
