Info Screen

Does anyone know how to keep the info screen from getting very bright to dark.
I am on a road trip and it's driving me crazy, bright, dull, bright ,dull.
The dash light button doesn't seem to effect it, or auto lights on and off or high beams.

I had this same issue. I’m sure someone here knows for sure, but if I remember correctly the settings for this are in the head unit menu. I believe it’s Dispay settings.

 

Change the settings to day mode.

 

It’s worth noting that the day mode setting is only available under curtain circumstances which escape me at the moment. When I was looking for this years ago I couldn’t find it anywhere, greyed out or otherwise.
I want to say I turned my headlights on during the day and then the option appeared and was able to be toggled

I figured out while back, about turning screen off. That has been supper handy in all my night trips.

 

Day Mode is only selectable when the truck thinks it is dark. When in bright sunlight it is not selectable.

I found Day Mode to be too bright for me when driving at night. Day Mode will keep the screen the same brightness all the time. I went back to having Day Mode off.

After a while I have got used to the screen changing brightness. It might be a subconscious thing going under an overpass and my mind knows it will dim. When I first got my truck the dimming drove me crazy which is how I found the setting.
