Joining the Tacoma Group

Hello folks, a long time Tundra owner here. I've owned for a week now a 2025 Toyota Tacoma TRD Sport and I have to say that I'm enjoying it. I'm not enjoying the payments but that is another story. I was in a position where the computer in the Tundra was giving continual problems and I was in a position of needing to part with it.

To be up front I may have needed to change out for a while. The think I disliked about the Tundra was finding aftermarket parts for it and there aren't that many. The Tacoma on the other hand is a much different story. I'm obviously still under warranty so I can't go to crazy but the options are amazing. I do see with the 4th generation there aren't quite as many as previous but that will certainly change with time.

I think one of the first mods I'd like to get is an rifle rack for the truck. Are there any available for the 4th Gen? The very first truck I bought was a 1979 Chevy Luv and I had a rifle rack in the back window. Times have changed and people would freak if they saw rifles in the back window. Is there something that can mount up near the headliner?

Are people using the 4G in the same way people used previous gen Tacomas? I think that's what will determine what the aftermarket will have available. Most of the Xtracabs I see are bug trucks, so they are being used as the previous gen was.
