All this water softener talk, think I might look further into mine today. Over a month ago the brine tank spilled over and came very close to ruining the floor in the other room in the basement. It has been in bypass since then and the water is terrible here. I know I need to replace the whole darn thing, but I'm a tightwad. Gonna replace the clear drain tubing and then look into the brine injection line. It may well be clogged up. Or even the float is gunked up. I remember seeing black gunk in the tube before, but never thought of it. Not putting any real money in it, but if I can persuade it a couple more months that would be nice. I've been having to clean my shower weekly with an acid base cleaner the water is so bad o_O

It is warmer now - you could just shower outdoors with the hose. :boink:

Not sure why the people near the house have been planting tobacco. Apparently they thought the cooler temps were over for us.

To be fair, I thought we were past this crap too. 34 degrees now is far colder than I remembered a few months ago.

It flurried most of the day today by me.

I'm ok with having 4 seasons, I'd just really prefer to spread them out over 3 months each. Instead of having all 4 seasons in one month.

I never really understood sun bathing. Seems like a fast track to skin cancer, and I've already got enough issues the way it is.

Oddly enough her demise was brain cancer. Smoked like a freight train, but ultimately it was brain cancer. The body is so darn weird...

Well fellers, it was a busy day.

The 66 LTD (the one that actually runs ) was in a storage for the winter, they had a promotion, 3 months for about $35/month, well worth it to have it out of the way.

    Collected it today.

    20250407_151306.jpg

Then brought the Blue Mule over.

    20250407_173741.jpg

The 65 was in a unit down the row, less convenient than the one I took the 66 out of.
Blue Mule for the win. :benchpress:

    20250407_171516.jpg

    I had a helper steering.

    20250407_171718.jpg

    And one and done.
On a short chain the mule can both push and brake.
